In the international section at the CES, you could view the DNB “Dual Net-book.” This netbook features two screens. One screen obviously serves as your normal laptop viewing screen, but the second screen doubles as a keyboard and an extra screen. Both the top and bottom screens are touchscreens. 
On Wednesday morning, Toshiba held a press conference to introduce the Toshiba KIRA2. This LED HDTV has new features like video conferencing, 3D video, media sharing via a home network, and access to sites like Vudu, CinemaNow, Netflix, and Facebook. The thing that makes the KIRA2 have these amazing abilities is the CELL Set-Top Box that utilizes a CELL microprocessor. The CELL Set-Top Box will be sold together with the KIRA2 in a new line from Toshiba called the CELL TV Series. 
Finally, free mobile TV will be available for laptops, iPhones, and Droids. The head of the Open Mobile Video Coalition said that this should all be ready sometime in 2010. As of now, there are no free mobile TV options. Certain wireless carriers have subscription-based packages, and companies like MediaFlo USA have a cable-like system where customers can purchase about a dozen channels for $10-15 a month, but that’s it. TV stations will now start by broadcasting there regular programs at the same times that they could be viewed on TV. DTV is on its way, and I think that it is most definitely going to be a hit.
